VillageArt Mountain HideAway – Pricing and Policy The HideAway is a remarkable value and unique, offering in-the-mountains complete home-like quarters with grand views unlike any other inn or hotel. Our rates, accordingly, are firm . QUESTIONS on Policy? Write to Lowell, reservations manager, at (link) LOWELL for other inquiries. Please mention "HideAway" in text or subject line. Check in/Out Standard check in time is 3PM, earlier if arranged with the manager. Standard check out time is 11AM. There will be a charge for checkouts later than noon. All later checkouts must be arranged with the manager. CHECK IN PROCEDURE. The key will be picked up either at the VillageArt shop in Boulder or at the HideAway, depending on your arrival time. Guests will sign their charge slips -- one for reservation fee, one for stay fee, and one for damage responsibility. Driving directions and map will be given on check in or by email before travel. Daily Rates The daily rate is $200/ day for 2 persons, with the rate dropping to $160 for an extended stay beginning with day 3. Additional persons are $35 per night per person, limit 5 total persons. This additional charge is THE SAME FOR CHILDREN AS ADULTS. Minimum stay is TWO days. HOLIDAY RATE applies from mid-November to Jan 5 of the following year and mid-May (10th to 20th) CU Graduation and is $240.00/day. Rental is for use of the suite. Guests are expected to maintain standards of hygience and order consistent with what they would do if this were their own property. Occupants may wash their dishes and keep house according to custom. Bed linen is provided for change twice per week; fresh towels are provided every other day. Up to 4 day guests are permitted; please inform property manager before inviting guests. Festive events (which we ENCOURAGE) can be planned on the patio with prior arrangements through the property manager. The site is wonderful for such use. Pets are not permitted within the suite. A covered kennel is available on-site. Care of the pet is assumed by the guest; let us know if your pet has special needs. Other pet boarding is available in Boulder. Laundry. Per-Load charge is made for guests needing laundry service: $1/pound. (Bed linen and towel service, as described above, is not an additional change, of course.) Reservation deposit is the single-day amount. Deposit is 95% refundable if cancellation is made 60 days or more before the reservation begin date. This non-refundable portion is due to credit card charges and other handling costs. Deposit is half refunded if cancellation is made 30 days or more before reservation begin date. Sorry, no refund within 30 days of reservation date; this is consideration for business turned away due to your reservation. We are flexible. If you prefer a different basic service than described here, just ask. Let us know of your special needs and we intend to make sure your stay memorable and delightful. The VillageArt Mountain HideAway IS a unique place. Weekly Rates The weekly rate is $1000 for 2 persons, with the rate dropping to $900 for additional weeks. Additional persons are $150/ per week per person, limit 5 total persons. This additional charge is THE SAME FOR CHILDREN AS ADULTS. HOLIDAY RATE applies from mid-November to Jan 5 of the following year and mid-May (10th to 20th) CU Graduation and is $1200.00/week. This is for use of the suite. ‘Daily’ pet rules also apply. Laundry and Services. As per ‘Daily’ schedule. Reservation deposit is half of the single week amount. Deposit is 95% refundable if cancellation is made 10 weeks or more before the reservation begin date. This non-refundable portion is due to credit card charges and other handling costs. Deposit is half refunded if cancellation is made 6 weeks or more before reservation begin date. Monthly Rates The monthly rate is $3600 for 2 persons, with the rate dropping to $3200 for additional months. Additional persons are $500/ per month per person, limit 5 total persons. This additional charge is THE SAME FOR CHILDREN AS ADULTS. You are welcome to ask for a quote for the particular month you have in mind, as conditions vary. The same use rules apply as for daily and weekly use. Reservation deposit is half the single month amount. Deposit is 95% refundable if cancellation is made 10 weeks or more before the reservation begin date. This non-refundable portion is due to credit card charges and other handling costs. Deposit is half refunded if cancellation is made 6 weeks or more before reservation begin date. Colorado sales tax of 4.75% is added to your stay fee at the time the stay fee is charged. SMOKING is permitted outdoors, following safe fire-prevention practices. We have an ample supply of 'outdoors'. Sorry, we cannot permit smoking withing the suite. PETS may be accomodated in our outdoor, covered kennel, which is steps away from the HideAway. Lowell and Bonnie, owners/managers, reside on the lower story of the structure, available to help should there may be any problems. These "mountain gnomes" can be availble to advise and help -- OR quietly and inconspicuously to guard your privacy. Please let us know your attitude on this. 4WD -- Four wheel drive is REQUIRED in winter to drive to the HideAway, if there is snowcover on the driveway. The HideAway IS up in the mountains. Hearty Guests are welcome to park down below and walk, ski, or snowshoe up the 1/2 mile driveway, if that pleases them (instead of 4WD). But remember this is an uphill hike at an altitude of 6700 feet. Most people adapted to sea level don't have altitude sickness until they are above 10,000 feet, but exertion makes it worse. Tenants are advised to be careful of all the hazards of high mountain living, which may be different from what they are accustomed to. These include mountain lions, bears, moose, lightning, high wind, falls, ice and snow, rock slides, avalanch, and injury due to skiing or hiking. All wildlife can be dangerous and should not be approached. Our thin air makes sunburn and breathing hazard extreme; protect yourself. This IS a HIGH mountain environment! Disclaimer Principals involved in owning and managing the VillageArt Mountain HideAway are not responsible for accidents that may happen on or off the property. This property conforms to all laws and regulations of Colorado. Tenants are advised to have their insurances in order and to take all prudent action to avoid harm and injury. Please inform all persons in your party and guests of hazards they may not be aware of. The leasing tenant is responsible for the care and safety of all minor children they bring to the property. |
